Happy 1st birthday, Picturetravelling!

Wow, die Zeit scheint verflogen!

Ein Jahr ist es nun her, als ich mich dazu entschloss Picturetravelling zu gründen.
In den vergangenen 365 Tagen ist viel passiert:

Ich war auf 3 aufregenden Reisen in Athen, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und in Warschau.
Dabei habe ich faszinierende Städte, tolle Menschen und verschiedene Eindrücke sammeln können, die ich nicht missen möchte!

Darüber hinaus habe ich die Reiseberichte meiner vergangenen 7 Reisen veröffentlicht.
Somit sind bis zum heutigen Tage 16 Reiseberichte online – jeweils in deutsch und englisch.

Picturetravelling ist zudem auf Facebook, Twitter und Instagram vertreten – mit über 1450 Follower!
Absolut fantastisch – VIELEN DANK AN EUCH ALLE !!!!!!!

Die Planungen für das kommende Jahr sind schon angelaufen und so Recht kann ich mich noch nicht entscheiden wo es hingehen soll – nach Indien, Thailand, die USA oder doch ganz wo anders?
Freue mich über jegliche Tipps und Vorschläge Eurerseits! 🙂

Aber jetzt erstmal vielen, vielen Dank an jeden einzelnen Leser, für jede Mail, jeden Kommentar und jegliche Unterstützung die ich zahlreich erhalten habe!
Ich freue mich jedes Mal, wenn ich Rückmeldung von Euch erhalte und hoffe auch in Zukunft auf zahlreiche Zuschriften 🙂
Zudem vielen Dank an Lufthansa, dem Hotel Pythagorion Athen, dem Hotel Kempinski Ajman und dem Sheraton Hotel Warsaw!

Auf ein spannendes nächstes Jahr, ich freue mich darauf!

Wow, the time has passed so fast!

One year ago I decided to start Picturetravelling.
A lot has happened in the last 365 days:

 I had 3 fantastic journeys to Athens, the United Arab Emirates and Warsaw.
During these trips I could gather fascinating impressions of thrilling cities, great people and unique moments that I don´t want to miss!

In addition, I published the travel reports of my past 7 trips.
Thus, today 16 travel reports are ready to be read – both in German and English.

Picturetravelling is also represented on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram – with more than 1450 Followers!
Absolutely fantastic – THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL OF YOU !!!!!!!

The plans for the journeys in 2016 have already started and a many destinations are in my mind.
India, Thailand, USA? Or somewhere else? Because of that, I appreciate any advice and suggestions 🙂

For now, thank you so much for every reader, every Mail, every comment and every support I ´ve received numerous!
I´m delighted every time I get feedback from you and hopefully that continues in the future 🙂

Warschau / Warsaw

Hallo ihr Lieben 🙂

Zwei Wochen ist es nun her, als ich nach Warschau gereist bin.
Ohne Plan, ohne Vorstellungen was die Stadt für mich bereit hält und ehrlich gesagt auch ohne hohe Erwartungen.
Umso überraschter war ich, welch spannende und aufregende Tage die polnische Hauptstadt für mich bereit hielt.
Was genau? Schaut es Euch an, viel Spaß dabei!

Two weeks have passed, since I enjoyed a few days in Warsaw.
A few days without a plan, without ideas what kind of sights the city has to offer and honestly without big expectations, as well.
The more surprising it was, how thrilling and exciting the Polish capital is.

… schweren Herzens muss ich mich nun nach 4 Tagen in Warschau wieder dem leidigen Koffer packen widmen.

Zwar ist das an sich nicht das Problem, aber ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es mir so schwer fallen würde, diese aufregende Stadt wieder verlassen zu müssen.

Sowohl die zahlreichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die großen, gepflegten Parks, als auch die einzigartige Stimmung in den Abendstunden und die offenen, freundlichen Einheimischen werde ich vermissen. Wenn sich zahlreiche Nachtschwärmer verschiedenster Altersklassen in den abwechslungsreichen Bars, Restaurants und Clubs im Schatten der sozialistisch geprägten Prunkbauten des Warschauer Zentrums vergnügen – einmalig!

Auch wenn Polen ein Nachbarland Deutschlands ist, ist der hiesige Flair nicht im Geringsten mit dem Deutschen zu vergleichen.

So nah und doch so anders, so wunderschön!

Trotz alledem wird mich heute Nachmittag der Flieger wieder zurück nach München bringen, das „normale“ Leben muss schließlich weiter gehen.

Ich bin mir jedoch ganz sicher, bald wieder hierher zurück zu kommen.

Die Droge Warschau – ich bekenne mich süchtig 😉

… unfortunately I have to pack my luggage after 4 thrilling days in Warsaw.
While that in itself is not the problem, but I didn’t think that it would be so hard to leave this exciting city.

I will miss both the numerous shopping opportunities and the large, well-kept parks, as well as the unique atmosphere in the evenings and the very friendly, open minded locals.  When numerous party people different ages are celebrating in the diverse bars, restaurants and clubs in the shadow of socialist embossed magnificent buildings of the Warsaw center – absolutely unique!

Although Poland is a neighboring country of Germany, the local flavor is definitely not comparable with the Germans.

So close and yet so different, so beautiful!

Despite all that the plane is bringing me back to Munich this afternoon, the „normal“ life has to go on.

However, I am sure to come back very soon!

The drug Warsaw – I am addicted 😉
