Ayodya Resort Bali 

The five-star beach resort has been a Hilton hotel a few years ago and is located in the multi-guarded security area of Nusa Dua in the south-eastern part of the island.

Due to the good location, the hotel is reachable by taxi within 20 minutes from the airport.
On the way there are several safety sluices, were security staff opens the car to ensure that no unauthorized persons enter this area. The last check is directly at the hotels entrence and the Security even checks the bottom of the car with a mirror.

The uncomplicated check-in was fast and the extremely friendly and quiet staff immediately put me in a relaxed holiday mood.

The hotel consists of a north and a south wing, which run parallel to each other towards the sea. The hotel rooms, which have luckily been booked moderately at the time of my vistit, are located on five floors, but only four are built above ground.
An employee told me another great fact: In Bali, no hotel is allowed to be built higher than the tallest palm of the respective beach 🙂

From my room on the top floor of the south wing I had a nice view of the pool area and the sea.
The equipment of the room was high-quality, consistently very clean but not exuberantly luxurious. However, the walls were very noisy, so I could hear the spoken words of my neighbors.

The hotel has two pools.
The larger one is located between the two hotel parts of the hotel in the well-maintained garden area. The smaller infinity pool is near the beach and too beautiful to resist, as you can see in the picture below. 🙂

The beach begins directly at the hotel restaurant, has a fine sand and there are enough sunbeds available for everyone. In my opinion, the numerous seat bags are even more comfortable; beautiful and colorful sunshades are placed above every seating possibility.

Free Wi-Fi was available throught the entire resort and even at the beach!

The breakfast, which can also be called a brunch, was served in the main restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel – overlooking the large lake. Several pasta and meat dishes,
live cooking stations, various juices, Asian specialties, fresh fruits that I´ve never seen before and various sweets were just some of the treats that have been offered over the regular breakfast time (until 10.30 am).
Some of the Asian Water Monitors, who obviously feel very comfortable in the hotels lake, came very close to the breakfast table… 😉
