Peninsula Excelsior

This 4,5 star hotel consists of two parts – the Peninsula Excelsior and the Peninsula Tower.
Both hotels are connected by the large and bright lobby area.

The location of the hotel is awesome!
Both the Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer, the Merlion and the Orchard Road are  in walking distance. The fascinating promenade Clarke Quay is opposite and can be reached in five minutes.

Due to the numerous friendly staff members, the check in was done in 5 minutes.

My room was in the 20th floor and I had a fantastic view of the skyscrapers of the Singapore city center, the promenade Clarke Quay and even the Marina Bay Sands.
The equipment of the room was on a high standard, consistently clean and almost to compare with established 5-star hotels (e.g. the large, ground-level shower, the huge bed with different pillows and the luxurious equipment).

The open-air hotel pool is located between the two parts of the hotel.
Beautifully designed and equipped with a fountain as well as various beach chairs, the pool has no solid wall at its longest side, but a large glass pane – great! 🙂

Free Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel.

The breakfast was served in the restaurant of the hotel on the ground floor.
Different kinds of bread, fresh-made omelette, juices, vegetables, various Asian delicacies and delicious, fresh fruit were offered in buffet form – very varied and absolutely tasty!
