Warsaw – Here I come :)

Es ist Freitag – das Wochenende beginnt.

Und für mich beginnt damit nach Athen und den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten die dritte Reise des Jahres.

In Kürze beginnt hier am Terminal 2 des Münchner Flughafens das Boarding für meinen Flug LH 1612 nach Warschau.

Für vier Tage versuche ich nun also einzutauchen in die Hauptstadt Polens, Geburtsstadt des Komponisten Frederic Chopin und eine Metropole, die im zweiten Weltkrieg zu 90 % zerstört wurde.

Was mich dort sonst noch erwartet? Ich lasse es einfach mal auf mich zukommen!

Ich habe weder einen festen (Zeit)plan, noch gebuchte Ausflüge oder einen Guide. Nur Flug und Hotel.

Ich freue mich auf ein paar spannende Tage, was auch immer sie mit sich bringen.

It´s Friday – the weekend begins.

And for me begins the third trip of the year, besides Athens and the United Arab Emirates.

Soon the boarding for my flight LH 1612 to Warsaw begins, here at Munich Airport Terminal 2.

For four days I will dive into the capital of Poland, the birthplace of the composer Frederic Chopin and a metropolis that was destroyed up to 90 % during World War II.

What else I can expect there? I just let it happen to me!

I do not have a fixed (time)plan, booked excursions or a local guide. I just booked the flight and the hotel.

I´m just looking forward to some exciting days, whatever they will bring.

Sommerzeit ist Reisezeit – auch für mich :)

Es ist Juli, es ist Sommer – kurz: Es ist Ferienzeit.
Zudem quält sich nahezu ganz Deutschland bereits seit Wochen bei Temperaturen von knapp 40 Grad.

Ganz klar, dass man da den allgegenwärtigen Gedanken an Urlaub kaum aus dem schwitzenden Kopf bekommt.

So geht es auch mir.

Nur von hohen Temperaturen habe ich für dieses Jahr endgültig genug!
Nachdem ich in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten schon genug Sonne und Hitze getankt habe, verschlägt es mich diesmal in eine Stadt, die nicht in erster Linie für sommerliche Temperaturen und Abkühlung im Meer berühmt ist. Zumal sie natürlich gar nicht am Meer liegt.

Am 7. August geht es für mich für 4 Tage in die polnische Hauptstadt, nach Warschau!

Abkühlung verspreche ich mir in Warschau vor allem auf mentaler Linie. Einfach mal ein paar Tage in einem guten Hotel abschalten, in eine andere Kultur eintauchen und einen Cocktail am Ufer der Weichsel genießen.
Ich finde, das hört sich vielversprechend an und war für mich Grund genug, die Entscheidung zu Gunsten meines östlichen Nachbarlands ausfallen zu lassen.

Natürlich werdet Ihr während der Reise wieder regelmäßig mit Updates versorgt, ist doch klar 😉

In knapp zwei Wochen geht’s los.

Und schon jetzt genieße ich imaginär den leckeren Cocktail am Hauptstadt-Fluss.
Ich kann es kaum noch erwarten 🙂

It´s July, it´s summer – in other words: It´s holiday season.
Moreover, in Germany we have temperatures of almost 40 °C for weeks now.

Because of that, the omnipresent wish of vacation is hardly to get out of your sweating head…

And I feel the same way.

But: I don´t need these high temperatures anymore, I had enough for this year.
After I´ve got enough sun and heat in the United Arab Emirates, my next trip will take me in a city that is primarily not famous for high temperatures and its thrilling beach life. Particularly, it´s not even located at the sea.

From August 7th the Polish capital Warsaw will be visited!

Mainly I want to cool down in a mental way. Switching off for a few days in a good hotel, immerse in anther culture and enjoy a cocktail on the banks of the Vistula.
For me that sounds very promising and was the reason why I chose to visit my neighboring country.

You will get regular updates during the trip on all of my media channels, of course 😉

The journey begins in less than two weeks.

Even now I´m enjoying my imaginary cocktail next to the capitals river.
I hardly can´t wait any longer… 🙂

Vereinigte Arabische Emirate / United Arab Emirates

Hallo ihr Lieben 🙂

Seit gut zwei Wochen bin ich nun wieder zurück in Deutschland.
Und ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, dass ich mich eigentlich jeden Tag zurück nach Dubai sehne.
Mal abgesehen von den wirklich heißen Temperaturen gibt es in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten einfach so unglaublich viel zu erleben, dass ich nicht verstehen kann, wie einem ein paar Tage in der Weltmetropole ausreichen können.

Daher hätte ich wohl nahezu unendlich über die erlebten zwei Wochen schwärmen können, habe mich jedoch auf drei Berichte beschränkt:

Den Reisebericht über Dubai, einen über Abu Dhabi und einen weiteren über ein wirklich traumhaftes Strandressort in Ajman.

Ich hoffe, das Fernweh bei dem ein oder anderen wecken zu können! 😉

Hello my friends 🙂

For two weeks I came back to Germany from my last journey.
And honestly, I want to go back to Dubai almost every day.
Apart from the really high temperatures, the United Arab Emirates offer so incredible possibilities that I can not understand somebody to stay in Dubai just for a few days.
Because of that I could have infinitely adored about my experienced two weeks, but I have limited myself to these three reports:

The travel report about Dubai, Abu Dhabi and one about a truly wonderful beach resort in Ajman.

I hope to trigger wanderlust in somebody..! ; )
