Africa is calling – off to Morocco

Das neue Reisejahr beginnt für mich mit dem heutigen Tage und ich freue mich auf spannende 14 Tage voller neuer Eindrücke auf einem Kontinent, den ich auf meinen vergangenen Reisen noch nie betreten habe.

In den kommenden zwei Wochen werde ich das nordafrikanische Königreich Marokko bereisen.

Im Zuge dessen werde ich unter Anderem die Städte Marrakech, Casablanca, El Jadida und Ouarzazate kennenlernen und in das hiesige Leben für jeweils mehrere Tage eintauchen.
Etwas abseits der Provinzhauptstadt Ouarzazate im Süden des Landes, in Mitten der Sahara, möchte ich zudem ein Wüstencamp besuchen, auf dessen Erfahrung ich schon jetzt sehr gespannt bin 🙂

Auf Facebook und Instagram halte ich Euch während der Reise und so der Internetzugang es zulässt auf dem Laufenden 😉

I´m very glad being able to visit the cities of Marrakech, Casablanca, El Jadida and Ouarzazate and immerse myself in the local life for several days.

I’m also planning to visit a desert camp in the middle of the Sahara, just outside the provincial capital Ouarzazate in the south of the country.

Wenn auch etwas verspätet, freue ich mich sehr, Dir nun meine Berichte über meine Reise nach Riga vorstellen zu können.

Neben malerischen Häusern in der Altstadt, einem aufregenden Markt in historischer Atmosphäre und kulturellen Einflüssen aus Skandinavien und Russland durfte ich 5 Tage in der Hauptstadt Lettlands verbringen.

Länger hätte diese Reise jedoch auch nicht dauern müssen, da es, neben dem meist schlechten Wetter zu meiner Reisezeit, nicht genug Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen gab.

Although a bit late, I’m very happy to show you my reports about my trip to Riga.

In addition to picturesque houses in the old town, an exciting marlin in historic atmosphere and cultural influences from Scandinavia and Russia, I could spend 5 days in the capital of Latvia.

However, this trip wouldn’t have to take much longer, because, apart from the mostly bad weather at my time of travel, there weren’t enough sights which would have been worth to visit.

Ab ins Baltikum – Riga, here I come

Die Tage werden kürzer, die Temperaturen kälter – der Herbst ist in Deutschland angekommen.
Und ich? Ich bin soeben im Terminal 2 des Münchner Flughafens angekommen, das Fernweh hat mich voll und ganz gepackt und spüre die Vorfreude auf die bevorstehende Reise am ganzen Körper.

Wie die letzten Jahre auch, ist es daher für mich an der Zeit meine letzte des Jahres anzutreten.
Nach einem spannenden Citytrip in die tschechische Hauptstadt Prag im März,  einer unvergesslich schönen Zeit in Singapur und einem exotischen Aufenthalt in Indonesien führt mich meine nächste Reise in den Norden Europas, genauer gesagt in die lettische Hauptstadt Riga.

Da ich Nordeuropa bisher noch nie bereist habe, freue ich mich ganz unvoreingenommen auf tolle und spannende Tage in Riga!

The days are getting shorter, the temperatures colder – the autumn has arrived in Germany.
And me? I have just arrived at Terminal 2 of the Munich Airport, the wanderlust has filled me completely and I feel the anticipation of the upcoming trip all over my body.

Like the last few years, this is the perfect time for my last trip of the year.
After an exciting citytrip to the Czech capital Prague in March, an unforgettable time in Singapore and an exotic stay in Indonesia, my next trip leads me to the Latvian capital Riga.

Since I´ve never traveled to Northern Europe so far, I am looking forward to great and exciting days in Riga!
