Dieses unbeschreibliche Gefühl…

… wenn dir den ganzen Tag ein Wind wie ein heißer Fön ins Gesicht bläst und du einfach gar nichts dagegen tun kannst. 

Genau das ist es, was ich seit dem frühen Donnerstagmorgen auf Schritt und Tritt spüre, nachdem ich das Terminal 1 des Flughafen in Dubai verlassen habe. 

Aber ich beschwere mich nicht, ich wusste ja schließlich vorher, wo die Reise hingehen würde. Und über Sonne satt, 39 Grad bereits am ersten Tag und einen Rooftop-Pool auf dem Dach meines Hotels möchte ich mich auch gar nicht beschweren. 😉

Und das Beste – es liegen noch 12 Tage vor mir! 12 Tage in denen es unter Anderem auf den berühmten Goldsouk, zu einer Wüstensafari und in die Hauptstadt Abu Dhabi geht.

This unique feeling…

… when the wind blows towards you the whole day, like a hot hair dryer and you can’t do anything against it.

Exactly this is what I feel since Thursday morning as I have left the Terminal 1 at Dubai airport.

But I’m not complaining about it. I really knew where the journey would go. And i really don’t want to complain about sun all day long, 39 degree Celsius and a great pool at the hotels rooftop ;-).

And the best thing – there are still 12 days left! 12 days at the famous Gold souk, a safari in the desert and at the capital City Abu Dhabi.

Off to Dubai :)

Die zweite Reise des Jahres steht an, genauso wie ich gerade in der Schlange am Gate H24 des Münchner Flughafens.
Sobald das Boarding startet, beginnt für mich eine Reise, die ich bereits seit vielen Jahren realisieren wollte. Nun hat es endlich geklappt und die kommenden 16 Tage werden in der heißen Sonne der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate verbracht.
Das wohl berühmteste Hotel, das höchste Gebäude der Welt, die größte Shoppingmall unseres Planeten. Die Liste der Rekorde Dubais ließe sich wohl nahezu beliebig fortführen.
Aber natürlich wird auch die Hauptstadt Abu Dhabi besucht. Die dort ansässige Formel-1 Rennstrecke und die größte Moschee der gesamten Emirate werden sicherlich ebenfalls besondere Erlebnisse offenbaren.

„LH 638 is ready for boarding“ heißt es aus den Lautsprechern.
Es geht los.
Dubai, ich freue mich auf Dich!

The second trip of the year begins and I´m standing in line on gate H24 at Munich Airport.
When boarding starts, at the same time a journey starts, I wanted to realize for many years. Finally it became the truth and the next 16 days will be spent in the hot sun of the United Arab Emirates.
The probably most famous hotel, the tallest building in the world, the largest shopping mall on the planet. The records of Dubai could probably be continued almost without limit.
But the capital Abu Dhabi will be visited as well, of course. The resident Formula 1 racetrack and the largest mosque in the entire Emirates will certainly reveal a special experience as well.

„LH 638 is ready for boarding“ is the sound out of the speakers.
The journey begins.

Dass ich ein großer Fan der portugiesischen Hauptstadt bin, steht außer Frage. Daher möchte ich Euch für einen Tag in den Stadtteil Belém entführen, der definitiv einen Besuch wert ist..! 🙂
