Ab ins Baltikum – Riga, here I come

Die Tage werden kürzer, die Temperaturen kälter – der Herbst ist in Deutschland angekommen.
Und ich? Ich bin soeben im Terminal 2 des Münchner Flughafens angekommen, das Fernweh hat mich voll und ganz gepackt und spüre die Vorfreude auf die bevorstehende Reise am ganzen Körper.

Wie die letzten Jahre auch, ist es daher für mich an der Zeit meine letzte des Jahres anzutreten.
Nach einem spannenden Citytrip in die tschechische Hauptstadt Prag im März,  einer unvergesslich schönen Zeit in Singapur und einem exotischen Aufenthalt in Indonesien führt mich meine nächste Reise in den Norden Europas, genauer gesagt in die lettische Hauptstadt Riga.

Da ich Nordeuropa bisher noch nie bereist habe, freue ich mich ganz unvoreingenommen auf tolle und spannende Tage in Riga!

Was mich während meiner Reise erwarten wird erzähle ich euch täglich auf Instagram und Facebook – kommt mit mir nach Lettland 🙂

 


 

The days are getting shorter, the temperatures colder – the autumn has arrived in Germany.
And me? I have just arrived at Terminal 2 of the Munich Airport, the wanderlust has filled me completely and I feel the anticipation of the upcoming trip all over my body.

Like the last few years, this is the perfect time for my last trip of the year.
After an exciting citytrip to the Czech capital Prague in March, an unforgettable time in Singapore and an exotic stay in Indonesia, my next trip leads me to the Latvian capital Riga.

Since I´ve never traveled to Northern Europe so far, I am looking forward to great and exciting days in Riga!

I´ll keep you daily posted on Instagram and Facebook about my trip – come with me to Latvia 🙂

Ich bin wieder hier – an meinem geliebten Flughafen. Genauer gesagt im Terminal 2 des Münchner Flughafens.
Auf den Tag genau vor 8 Wochen bin ich von hier aus zu meinem Kurztrip nach Prag aufgebrochen und habe die Zeit vor dem Abflug in der Lufthansa Business Lounge verbracht.

Nun allerdings beginnt der gut zweiwöchige Haupturlaub. Und ich bin schon riesig gespannt ob es möglich sein wird, den des letzten Jahres zu toppen, als ich eine unvergesslich schöne Zeit in Muscat und Salalah im Oman verbringen durfte.
Dieses Jahr geht es allerdings noch 6.000 Kilometer weiter gen Osten:

In Kürze beginnt der Abflug nach Frankfurt, von wo aus die Reise für weitere 12:30 Flugstunden in den Stadtstaat Singapur führen wird.
Doch damit nicht genug – nach 5 Tagen fliege ich weiter nach Indonesien,
auf die Insel Bali.

Ich bin unfassbar aufgeregt und gespannt, was mich in Singapur und Indonesien erwarten wird!
Die Vorfreude darauf lässt meinen Herzschlag ins Unermessliche steigen und ich kann es kaum erwarten, meinen ersten Flug im größten Flugzeug der Welt antreten zu dürfen – dem zweistöckigen Airbus A380 von Lufthansa.

Daher mache ich mich jetzt schnell auf den Weg zu Gate XXX, um meinen Flug nach Frankfurt nicht zu verpassen.
Mit den ersten Eindrücken von Singapur melde ich mich dann wieder – von der anderen Seite der Welt.

I’m back at my favorite place – the Terminal 2 of Munich Airport.
Exactly 8 weeks ago I started my city trip to Prague and spent the time before departure in the Lufthansa Business Lounge.

Now, however, the main trip begins. And lets see whether it will be possible to beat the last year vacation when I was able to spend an unforgettable time in Muscat and Salalah in Oman.
My 2017 journey will take me at least 6,000 kilometers further east:

The take-off to Frankfurt will start soon, and the connection flight will take me to Singapore after 12:30 flight hours.
But not enough – after 5 days I´ll fly to Indonesia, to the island of Bali.

I´m incredibly excited about what is going to happen in Singapore and Indonesia!
The anticipation on it lets my heart beat so damn fast and I can´t wait to experience my first flight in the largest aircraft in the world – the Lufthansa Airbus A380.

Therefore, I´m now rushing to Gate XXX and off to Frankfurt.
I´ll share my first impressions of Singapore with you soon – from the other side of the world.

Die erste Reise des Jahres beginnt – auf nach Prag!

Guten Morgen 🙂

Nun ist es endlich so weit – nachdem seit meiner letzten Reise nach Odessa bereits 5 Monate vergangen sind, freue ich mich nun umso mehr das Reisejahr 2017 einläuten zu können.

Die nächsten 4 Tage werde ich in der Hauptstadt Tschechiens verbringen und bin gespannt, was Prag neben der bekannten Burg und der Karlsbrücke noch so alles zu bieten hat.

Hier, im Freiluftbereich zwischen den beiden Terminals des Münchner Flughafen erwacht das Fernweh schlagartig aus dem kurzen Winterschlaf, lässt meinen Puls angenehm steigen und es bekommt einen wahrnehmbaren Geruch – Kerosin.
Der gepackte Koffer steht neben mir, die Flugtickets halte ich fest in meiner Hand und im Hintergrund summen die Turbinen der startenden Flugzeuge sonor vor sich hin – ein Traum! 🙂

Nun geht´s aber los – bye-bye München, auf zu Gate K12, ab nach Prag!

Good morning 🙂

Five long months have already passed since my last trip to Odessa and I´m very happy to start the travel-year 2017 right now.

The following 4 days will be spent in the capital of the Czech Republic and I´m curious what Prague has to offer next to the famous castle and the Charles Bridge.

Here, in the open-air area between the two terminals of the Munich airport, the wanderlust suddenly awakes from its short winter sleep, lets my pulse go up pleasantly and it gets a perceptible smell – kerosene.
The packed suitcase is next to me, the flight tickets are hold tightly in my hands and the turbines of the starting airplanes are peacefully buzzing in the background – so wonderful! 🙂

But it becomes even more great – the trip begins.
Bye-bye Munich, hello Gate K12, off to Prague!
